When we acquired the assets and liabilities in Steve Keller and Associates, Inc. this included the account receivables. If you owe money to Steve Keller and Associates, please remit as usual. You can make checks payable to Steve Keller and Associates if we began your project under this name or to Architect’s Security Group, Inc. if we began your project under our new name.

dba Steve Keller and Associates
DBA: We are registered with the State Corporation Commission with a DBA (doing business as) for Steve Keller & Associates. We are also registered in some, but not all, other states as an alien corporation. We do this only when required by law to do so.
Insurance: Professional Liability Insurance is under “Architect’s Security Group, Inc. DBA Steve Keller & Associates”. If you need an ACORD certificate endorsing you as an additional insured, please ask at the beginning of a project.
Huh?: This means that we can do business under both names but we are officially “Architect’s Security Group, Inc.” This allows us to take advantage of our good name until the world hears about our name change.
FEIN: Our Federal Employer Identification Number did not change but we reserve the right to ask the IRS for a change at a later date. This is apparently good practice in this type of business transition. We will inform you if our FEIN changes. If you need an FEIN number, please ask early in the project and not after your accounting department has delayed payment for not having it on file.
DUNS: Our DUNS number has not changed. If it does we will tell you.
Virginia License: We do business in fifty states using our Virginia license because Florida’s license is not recognized everywhere but Virginia’s is. No firm can afford to be licensed in every state due to the stringent regulatory requirements. This license WILL change but it can’t change until our insurance transition date. Virginia clients are the only ones who need to be informed when this change occurs and you will be informed. Re-licensing is required because 100% of our stockholders and 75% of our Directors will change. Be patient. This is a time consuming effort which the bureaucrats in Virginia make as difficult and expensive as they possibly can.
Clients: Please be patient as our insurance certificates and other paperwork transition. The only thing you need to know is that Steve Keller and Associates, Inc. and Architect’s Security Group, Inc. are the same legal entity since the buy-out was a stock sale and not an asset sale followed by a name change and we will be insured through this process.

Horizon Institute: We did not buy the assets of or stock in Horizon Institute and will not do business under that name. We will sell a few Horizon products to clients and retain use of all Horizon copyrights. We may continue to hold seminars under the Steve Keller and Associates name.
